What to know before your first Sugaring Appointment:

• Hair must be at least the length of a grain of rice to be removed properly, honestly the longer the better. If any trimming needs to be done, Renee has you covered
• Exfoliate the night before your service and avoid moisturizers on the area the day of your service
• When is the most ideal time to come in for your first Brazilian sugar? 1 week after your period and then every 4 weeks until all 3 of your hair growth cycles are lined up - after this (usually 3 months) we can determine your ideal appointment times according to your individual hair growth.
• Can you get sugared when you're on your period? Absolutely, no biggie at all. Just arrive with a fresh tampon, if your forget Renee has plenty of organic cotton tampons available in our sugaring room on our client comfort cart - on this cart you will also find chilled water, extra candies, aftercare cards, extra wipes, extra towels, and hand sanitizer!
• Renee is a pro on helping minimize discomfort during your sugaring service, but if you are wanting to take extra precaution (it hurts more in your mind BEFORE the service than actually getting the service- we know from experience.) you can always take an over the counter pain reliever 1 hour before your service and skip the morning coffee the day of your service (or just 1 cup?). Consuming  caffeine before your sugaring service can make you more sensitive.
